Microsoft Acquires Help from Rock Band To
 Help Promote The X-Box!

Bill Gate’s sets his eyes on the music industry as the popular rock band Linkin Park is announced as the first music promo for the Xbox. Microsoft will be heavily advertising and endorsing the Xbox at the band’s Projekt: Revolution tour. By being endorsed by Linkin Park, Microsoft hopes to increase awareness and popularity of their new system to a new audience. An Xbox that has been signed by each of the band members will be given away through radio promotions of the band’s tour.

Linkin Park’s debut album Hybrid Theory has sold tremendously well and helped the band gain a huge fan base. And in relation the Xbox has also sold tremendously well gaining support from the gaming industry. An awesome band and an awesome console, this seems like a match made in heaven. On a side note, I am a huge Linkin Park fan but I would have liked to see Microsoft try and buy out Britney Spears. I dream of a day where I turn on my Xbox and I am greeted by Ms. Spears telling me she enjoys playing a good game of Halo in her skimpiest outfit.
